Entre Computer Solutions has become a Prometric testing facility a company that allows customers to take online exams including; Microsoft, American Medical, American Dentistry, and others. Entre is the only facility within a 45-mile radius of Rockford with Prometric testing. Entre also achieved Diamond Dealer status, the highest status with Barracuda Networks.
Chicago Rockford International Airport and Southern Skyways will add a new, fourth-weekly flight to Denver beginning July 3, 2008. The enhanced service, in business class seating configuration, will be on a MD-80 aircraft.

The Community Foundation of Northern Illinois is seeking grant proposals for the Jon W. Lundin Historic Preservation Fund. In May, 2007 the Community Foundation established the fund in memory of community advocate Jon Lundin, husband of Foundation President Gloria Lundin.
